JR Automation Keeps the Giving Season Alive with Their Largest Donation to Date

Holland, MI – January 8, 2020 – JR Automation employees continued their record-breaking streak in 2019, donating almost $155,000 (including the company’s corporate match) to 13 non-profit organizations in Holland, MI, Stevensville, MI, Liberty, SC, Greenville, SC, and Nashville, TN.

The following non-profit organizations are recipients of the funds raised by JR Automation employees:

• Holland Rescue Mission
• Harbor Humane Society
• Folds of Honor
• Hospice of Holland
• American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Michigan Chapter (Grand Rapids Out of Darkness 2020 Walk)
• Area 12 Special Olympics
• Alzheimer’s Association – Michigan Great Lakes Chapter
• Bethany Christian Services
• Kids Hope USA
• Children’s Advocacy Center (Ottawa County)
• Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan
• CJ Fuller Foundation
• St Jude Children’s Research Hospital

This fundraising is made possible by the JR Community Care Fund (JRCCF), an employee-led initiative that hosts the annual events. Since the group was established in 1997 as a way to support fellow employees’ experiencing hardship, it has grown to include over thirty JR employees across multiple locations in North America and has matured into a self-sustaining operation that brings together hundreds of employees and benefits thousands of people in our community. “The JRCCF committee continues to do an amazing job bringing our growing team together outside of work to connect, have fun, and most importantly, give back to our community. It’s always inspiring to see the passion and dedication our employees across America bring to this initiative every year,” said Bryan Jones, CEO at JR Automation.

The JRCCF has continued to evolve and expand since it began. Ever since the steering members saw the opportunity to use this fund to support local non-profit organizations, the JRCCF has become one of JR Automation’s most active committees and it hasn’t slowed down.

“Seeing the genuine appreciation these organizations have when we announce they’re receiving a donation is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. It takes a lot of work to organize all of our fundraising events, but seeing our employees rally up every time to raise the amount of money we do makes it all worth it,” says Robyn Gordon, Employee Development & Communications Manager and Chair of the JR Community Care Fund Committee.

Through the growth that JR Automation has experienced as a company, they have seen an exponential increase in the amount of funds raised annually, as well as the number of employees who participate in the fundraising events.
