JR Automation Employees Donate $51,000 to Local Non-Profit Organizations

Holland, MI – January 8, 2021 – JR Automation, a leading global systems integrator and wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501) is pleased to announce that despite the challenges of 2020, employees continued their long-standing tradition of giving back, raising over $51,000 (including the company’s corporate match) for non-profit organizations in Holland, MI, Stevensville, MI, Liberty, SC, Greenville, SC, and Nashville, TN.

The following non-profit organizations are recipients of the funds raised by JR Automation employees:

• Shriners Hospital for Children
• Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee

“For 23 years, our employees have made giving a priority and 2020 was no different. The challenges we faced together served as a catalyst for action and made our team members more dedicated to service than ever before. This fundraising is made possible by the JR Community Care Fund (JRCCF), an employee-led initiative that hosts the annual events. Since the group was established in 1997 as a way to support fellow employees’ experiencing hardship, it has grown to include over thirty JR Automation employees across multiple locations in North America and has matured into a self-sustaining operation that brings together hundreds of employees and benefits thousands of people in our communities.
